Is it good to watch movies in theatre during pregnancy?

Husband wants to take me for a movie this weekend to lift my mood, im in my second tri and feeling fine. but im a little unsure about the loud sound and ac for so long. did any of you go to the theatre while pregnant?

I worried about the loud sound affecting baby too lol but doc said its fine for normal movies, just not constant super loud noise for hours. I felt better picking a comfy recliner seat and a lighter film. You will be ok.

Go enjoy yaar, u deserve a fun outing. Just maybe avoid the super loud action ones late in pregnancy, the bass can be a lot. Pick an aisle seat so u can pee easily and stretch your legs. Dont overthink it.

Honestly the bigger problem is finding a comfy position and the 5 bathroom trips during the film, not the movie itself. I still go, just keep it short and easy genre. Aisle seat is a lifesaver.

Totally fine. I went till my 7th month. Carry your own snacks, keep moving in your seat sometimes, and dont sit for back to back shows. Loud volume gets uncomfortable later on, thats the only thing.

Generally completely fine for a normal pregnancy. Stay hydrated, dont sit too long without moving, and skip the very loud high intensity ones in late pregnancy. If u have any specific complication, just check with your gynac first.
