We have been trying for a baby since few months and my fasting sugar came as 99 in the report. Its borderline na, now im worried this is the reason its not happening. did anyone conceive with similar levels?
When I was planning, my doctor checked fasting sugar and HbA1c together, not just one number. She said a controlled sugar level usually doesnt block conceiving. Best to do a proper checkup so they can guide you correctly.
99 sounds like it is in the normal range from what my doctor explained to me, but I would still get it checked properly. I have PCOS so my sugar and conceiving were linked, everyone is different. Dont assume, just let your gynac look at the full picture.
I am also trying and was worried about the same thing. My doctor said as long as it is well managed it should be okay. Take care of diet and stay relaxed, that helped me feel better.
Dont panic over one reading beta. Get it confirmed with your doctor and follow what she says about diet. These things settle when you take it step by step.
