My family insists I eat non-vegetarian food for strength during pregnancy. I'm mostly vegetarian, so I wanted to know if it's absolutely necessary or if I can manage with a vegetarian diet.
I completely understand being worried about the baby's nutrition. Please don't force yourself to eat non-veg if you are vegetarian, a healthy veg diet is perfectly fine.
Not at all necessary. You can easily get your protein from paneer, dals, soya, and milk, just make sure to ask your doctor if you need any B12 or iron supplements.
