Is it necessary to have constipation during pregnancy?
So many people around me say constipation is a given in pregnancy. Im 9 weeks and so far my stomach is fine, which is making me overthink if something is wrong. Is it really compulsory or some women just dont get it?
Phew, glad to know its not a must-have. I was worried something was wrong because im NOT constipated lol. So its just hormone luck na? I have been eating fruits and walking, maybe thats helping.
No its not necessary, but it is very common because the hormones slow your gut and iron tablets make it worse. Some women breeze through with no issue. Lots of water, fiber, fruits and walking really help keep it in check.
Not necessary at all beta, depends on the body. In our time we used soaked figs and isabgol with water, those gentle things help. Drink plenty of water through the day. But if you have severe pain or bleeding, see the doctor, dont try ghar remedies for that.
Not compulsory, but ugh it troubled me a lot, especially after iron supplements started. What helped, soaked raisins and warm water in morning, more fiber, and daily walking. If it gets really bad and painful, tell your gynac, dont just suffer.
No ma, its not a rule, just common. Amma told me to eat enough greens, fruits and drink water, and it stayed manageable for me. If it really troubles you, your doctor can suggest a safe stool softener, so dont hesitate to ask.
