Is it necessary to sleep on left side during pregnancy?
Everyone keeps telling me to sleep on left side only but yaar i naturally turn to my back or right in sleep. Im 28 weeks now. Is it really compulsory or thoda flexible? cant help my sleep position.
If you try to stay on one side all night, you'll wake up feeling like a statue, haha! Just sleep comfortably on either side, the baby is perfectly safe in there.
Left side is ideal, yes. But honestly, in the early months, just sleep however you are comfortable; only in the later trimesters do you need to be strict about side sleeping.
Left side is best for blood flow, but don't buy those expensive pregnancy pillows. Just put a regular soft pillow between your knees and one behind your back, it works perfectly.
It is recommended because it improves blood circulation to the baby. But if you wake up on your back or right side, don't panic, just gently turn back to the left.
Left side sleeping is great for circulation. I also had to focus on a strict diet and walking after dinner to keep my sugar levels controlled, sleeping well really helps.
