Is it necessary to take first urine for pregnancy test?
I bought a home pregnancy test kit and it says to use first morning urine. Is this really important, or can I use it at any time of the day? I sometimes forget in the morning.
Haan, bilkul! Shuruat me toh first morning urine hi best hota hai na kyuki tab hormone level pure din se jyada concentrated hota hai. Agar period miss huye kayi din ho gaye hain toh din me kabhi bhi kar lo, chal jayega.
With my PCOS, my ovulation dates were always messed up, so my hCG levels were quite low initially. I had to use the first morning urine to get an accurate result, otherwise, it kept showing negative. I'd highly recommend using the first morning one to avoid confusion.
It's not 100% compulsory, but in early weeks the first morning urine has the highest concentration of hCG. Looking back, I remember getting a faint line in the afternoon and then a super dark line the next morning. So yes, morning is always best!
Yes, the first urine is highly recommended because it has the most concentrated hCG. Just avoid drinking too much water before testing so the sample doesn't get diluted. If you have any unusual symptoms or severe cramping though, please skip home tests and consult your gynac.
I felt so anxious when I missed my period that I couldn't even wait for the morning and tested in the evening! It came out positive anyway because my hCG was already high. But if you are very early, waiting for the first morning pee will give you peace of mind.
