Is it necessary to take morning urine for pregnancy test?
My period is late and i couldnt test in the morning bcoz i was rushing to office. Now its evening and im wondering if testing now will even give correct result. Does it really have to be the first morning sample? pls tell.
Morning is best but not compulsory once your period is clearly late. Early on though, definitely use the first pee of the day, it's stronger. I always tested in the morning to be sure.
I tested in the afternoon first and got a very faint line that freaked me out, then morning test was crystal clear. So morning really did make a difference for me. Anyone else had this faint line confusion?
Not strictly necessary, but morning urine is the most concentrated so it gives the clearest result, especially in the early days. My doctor said you can test any time after a missed period, but if testing early, use the first morning sample. Otherwise you might get a faint or false negative.
Recommended but not mandatory. The hCG is most concentrated in morning urine so the line shows up clearer. If you test later in the day, try not to drink loads of water before, it dilutes things.
