Is it normal to feel more thirsty during pregnancy?
These days i feel so thirsty all the time, like drinking water non stop and still mooh dry. Im 3 months in. Is this a normal pregnancy thing or should i mention it to my gynac? anyone else felt this?
In my experience, my thirst went up a lot, especially in the afternoons. I didn't take any medicines or supplements for it, just listened to my body and drank filtered water whenever I felt dry. It settled down on its own after delivery.
Haan yaar, mujhe toh lagta tha main pura din paani hi peeti rahoongi! It is totally normal because your body is making extra blood and fluid for the baby. Bas cold drinks avoid karna and normal paani ya nariyal paani peete rehna.
Very normal to feel thirsty since the body is working double. Instead of buying fancy juices, just keep a copper bottle of water next to you all day. You can also have fresh ghar ka nimbu paani or buttermilk to stay hydrated.
Oh, with two babies inside, I was like a thirsty camel! I think I spent half my pregnancy drinking water and the other half running to the washroom. It's totally normal, just don't drink too much right before sleeping or you won't sleep at all!
Feeling thirsty is very common as your metabolism increases. Since my doctor allowed light prenatal yoga and walking, keeping my hydration level up was super important during workouts. Just drink a glass of water before and after your light walks.
I was so thirsty but water made me feel like throwing up in my first trimester. I survived by sipping cold glucose water and coconut water throughout the day. If plain water makes you nauseous too, try putting a slice of lemon in it.
It is quite common, so try having light coconut water or warm jeera water to cool down your body naturally. But listen, if you feel excessive thirst along with extreme fatigue or blurred vision, please check with your doctor immediately. Better to be safe.
I used to feel so thirsty in my second trimester, drank almost 3-4 liters of water daily! Staying hydrated also helped me avoid constipation and labor was very smooth too. Keep drinking water, it's great for you and the little one!
It is absolutely normal, your blood volume increases immensely during pregnancy. Just make sure you are not ignoring it, but also mention it to your gynac to rule out gestational diabetes. Keep a water tracker app to stay on top of it.
My pregnancy tracker app sent me daily alerts to drink at least 10 cups of water, which felt like a lot but it is totally normal. The baby needs amniotic fluid which depends on your hydration. Try to track your daily intake on an app, it really helps!
