Is it normal to have back pain in early pregnancy?
Im just around 7 weeks and my lower back kamar is aching quite a bit already. Thought back pain comes later na, so im a little surprised. Did anyone else feel this so early?
Oh god, yes! Your body is already releasing hormones to loosen things up, which starts the backache drama early. Honestly, get used to it because once baby is here, the lifting and nursing will keep your back busy anyway. Try using a small pillow for support.
It's quite common because of the hormone progesterone relaxing your ligaments. However, if the pain is severe or accompanied by any spotting or cramps, please consult your doctor immediately. For mild pain, warm compresses can help.
I had back pain in my 6th week and I panicked so much thinking something is wrong! But it's usually just your uterus expanding. Still, if it gets too painful, please message your doctor just to be completely at peace.
Mild backaches are normal, but please be very careful. If the pain is sharp, constant, or you see even a tiny bit of bleeding, do not ignore it and call your doctor. It's always better to be safe in the first trimester.
For me, the hormonal shifts weakened my core support early on. If your doctor has given you the green light, starting very light pregnancy yoga or gentle daily walking can strengthen your back. Just don't push yourself too hard.
Yes, mild back pain in early weeks is very common due to hormonal changes. I had it too, and it continued even after my C-section. Just make sure you rest well and sit with proper back support. Avoid lifting heavy stuff.
Very normal, dear! Your posture changes and muscles start adjusting early on. I found that doing light stretches (after asking my doctor) and lying on my side really eased the pressure. Keep your spirit positive!
