Is it normal to have irregular periods after pregnancy?

I delivered 7 months back and my periods have come twice but dates are all over the place. I am breastfeeding also. Is irregular cycle common after delivery?

Yes it's normal in the first several months. Body is recovering and adjusting. But if it stays very irregular for a long time or u get heavy bleeding, get it checked once with ur gynac.

Totally normal, I went through this too. After delivery my periods were all over the place for months. Hormones take time to settle, specially if you are breastfeeding. Be patient with ur body.

For me it was extra irregular because I have PCOS history, so I kept my doctor in loop. If u had any such thing before pregnancy, just mention it to ur gynac so they keep an eye.

If u r feeding the baby, irregular or even no periods for a while is very common. Mine came back properly only after I reduced feeds. It really differs for each mom.
