I tested positive but im still getting some bleeding around the time my period was due, not heavy though. Its making me doubt everything. Is this something that happens normally or should i be worried?
Technically no, real periods stop in pregnancy. Light spotting can happen and is often nothing, but its not a period. Anything more than light spotting, call your doctor, dont wait.
I had a little bleeding early and freaked out thinking how can I have periods if pregnant. Doc said it was spotting not a period. Did anyone else have this? It settled for me but I did get it checked just in case.
Please dont treat bleeding in pregnancy as a normal period. I bled early and it turned out to need monitoring. Some spotting can be okay but only your gynac can tell after checking. If you are pregnant and bleeding, especially with pain, go get seen.
No beta, you dont get actual periods once pregnant. Sometimes there is light spotting which can be fine, but dont brush off heavier bleeding. Whenever you see blood in pregnancy, just call the doctor, peace of mind is worth it.
My doctor cleared this for me, you cant actually get a true period during pregnancy because the lining isnt shed once you are pregnant. What people see is spotting or bleeding, which can be harmless (like implantation) or sometimes a warning sign. So any bleeding should be reported, not assumed as period.
