Is it normal to not feel like eating during pregnancy?
First trimester and honestly food just doesnt appeal to me at all, i force myself to eat thoda. Worried baby isnt getting enough. Is this normal in early days?
It is quite common. I had a C-section and faced appetite issues even post-delivery, but it slowly got better as my body recovered. Just take it easy, don't force your stomach, and let your body heal at its own pace.
I am in my 2nd trimester now and honestly, some days I still have zero appetite. It makes me so anxious! Did anyone else go through this in their second trimester too?
It's totally normal. As a working mom, I had to keep my energy up, so I used to carry handy snacks like almonds, roasted makhana, and apple slices to nibble on. Small frequent inputs are easier to manage.
Arey haan, shuruat mein sabko aisa lagta hai, bilkul mann nahi karta khane ka. Mummy mujhe thodi dahi ya nimbu paani deti thi jisse thoda achha lage. Chinta mat karo, dhire dhire sab theek ho jayega.
Keep a positive mind and don't worry, your body is adjusting beautifully to this new life. Take deep breaths, pray, and eat light food like khichdi or fruits when you can. God is protecting you both.
Loss of appetite is very standard in the early weeks due to beta-hCG levels peaking. Just focus on keeping yourself hydrated and taking your prenatal vitamins on time. Don't worry, appetite usually returns by the 14th week.
My doctor explained that the hormone progesterone slows down digestion, which can make you feel full or lose your appetite. She advised me to focus on hydration and eating small protein-rich snacks. If you are losing weight, do let your doctor know.
Listen to me, don't stress if you can't eat properly right now. Baby will get all the nutrition they need from your body reserves. Just sip some ginger water or dry biscuits and rest.
I had a very low appetite in my first trimester, but my hunger came back with a vengeance in the second trimester! Just eat simple, bland foods right now and don't stress about full meals.
Haan na, starting mein khane ka man bilkul nahi karta, bas sone ka dil karta hai! Mere saath bhi yahi hua tha, dahi-rice ya khichdi kha leti thi jab man nahi hota tha. Aap thoda thoda karke khao.
I completely understand how worrying this can feel, especially when you want to do everything perfectly for your baby. It is very natural to lose appetite due to hormonal shifts. Just take small, gentle steps and eat whatever feels comforting.
Yes, it is very common especially in the first trimester when hormones are changing rapidly. Try not to force large meals; just have small bites of whatever feels okay like fruits or coconut water.
