Is it ok to have light bleeding in early pregnancy?
Im around 6 weeks and saw a little light spotting today, not much but enough to scare me. I have my gynac appointment in 2 days and plan to ask her, but till then im so anxious. Did anyone else have this early on?
My doctor said light spotting can sometimes be harmless in early pregnancy, like implantation, but she still wanted to know about every episode. The key signs to worry about are heavy flow, bright red blood or cramps. So light can be okay, but always let the doctor confirm.
Having gone through a loss I am very cautious about any bleeding, even light. Please dont wait it out, just call your gynac and let them check. It is often fine but the peace of mind from getting checked is worth it.
I had light pinkish spotting around week 6 and I felt absolutely terrified. I rushed to my gynac and she checked everything was fine, it settled on its own. I am so glad I went rather than sitting at home worrying alone.
