It is generally the preferred option over other painkillers in pregnancy, but the amount and frequency should be as your doctor says. For a fever, ring them and they will tell you exactly. Never exceed what they advise.
Even with the commonly allowed ones, I always called my doctor first because of my history. A fever in pregnancy itself needs attention, so dont just self medicate and sit. Let the gynac guide you on both the fever and the medicine.
Paracetamol is usually the one doctors allow for fever or pain in pregnancy, but always confirm the dose with your gynac. I kept it only for when my fever was high and after asking. Dont just pop it for every little thing.
