Just found out im around 6 weeks and me and my husband are a little scared to be intimate. I worry it might harm the baby or cause something early on. Is it safe at this stage? feeling shy to ask my gynac directly.
For most low risk pregnancies it is considered safe. The mild tightening feeling afterwards is normal. If you have any complications flagged, just confirm with your doctor first.
In a normal healthy pregnancy it is generally fine, you might feel mild cramping after which settles quickly. It does not harm the baby. But if your gynac has told you to avoid intimacy due to bleeding or risk, then follow that.
It is okay yaar, dont stress about it in a normal pregnancy. A little cramp after is nothing to worry about. Just check with your doc if you have any issues going on.
