Is it possible for ultrasound to not detect pregnancy?
My test was positive but at the scan they couldnt see anything clearly, doc said come back in 2 weeks. Honestly im so stressed now. Has this happened to anyone else where the ultrasound didnt show it first time?
I panicked over this exact thing, empty scan early on. Turned out my dates were just wrong by almost two weeks. The follow up scan showed everything perfectly, so try not to spiral before the repeat.
It depends a lot on how many weeks you actually are versus what the app guessed, dates can be off if your cycle is irregular. Early scans sometimes show nothing and a repeat clears it up. The transvaginal scan picks things up earlier than the belly one too.

Yes, if it is too early the sac may not show yet, my doctor said before around 5-6 weeks it can be hard to see anything on scan. They usually repeat it after a week or check hCG blood levels. So a not seen early on doesnt always mean bad news.
