Me and my husband planning for baby and someone told me u can get pregnant even during periods. Is that even a thing? I always thought those days are safe. Bit confused now, pls clear my doubt.
It is less likely but not impossible, especially if you have a short cycle and ovulate early. Sperm can survive a few days inside. So yes there is a small chance, dont assume it is totally safe.
People think period days are fully safe but that is not always true. If your cycle is irregular the chances change. Dont rely on guesswork, talk to a gynac about proper planning.
With irregular cycles like mine timing is really unpredictable, so I never assumed anything. Honestly I wouldnt go by the calendar method alone. Best to ask your doctor what suits you.
