Is it possible to detect pregnancy before missed period?
My cycle is due next week but I feel different this time, more sleepy and mild cramps. Maybe I am overthinking because we tried properly this month. Can it be detected before period is missed?
Honestly i drove myself mad testing every morning before my date haha. Early symptoms can fool you, even pms feels similar. If you really cant wait, do a blood test at a lab for accuracy.
A blood test can pick it up a few days before the missed period, urine kits usually need you to wait till the period is due or late. Testing too early just gives confusing faint lines, i learnt that the hard way.
I was so eager that i tested 4 days early and it was negative, then positive after my missed date. So technically yes early but it can also disappoint you early. Maybe wait a tiny bit if you can.
Some women notice signs like sore breasts or extra tiredness before the period, i tracked mine on an app and felt different that month. But for a sure answer the blood beta hcg is the earliest reliable one.
