Is it safe to bath with hot water during pregnancy?
Its first trimester and cold lag rahi hai a lot, so i like my water really warm. But someone told me too hot is not good for baby. Matlab how warm is ok? pls share.
Please be very careful with this and keep the water only mildly warm. I had a few issues during my pregnancy, so my doctor strictly told me to avoid very hot baths. Better to ask your gynac once about this to be absolutely sure.
Oh, I felt so relieved whenever I took a warm shower during my second trimester, it was my only escape from back pain! I used to just stand under the warm water and feel so connected to my bump. Just don't make it too hot.
Hot water is fine but don't make it steaming hot, keep it comfortably warm. I used to love warm showers, they helped so much with my back pain. Just avoid long hot tubs.
Actually, my doctor told me that raising your core body temperature above 101 degrees can be risky, especially in the first trimester. So warm showers are perfectly fine, but hot tubs or steam baths are a big no.
Haha, what is a peaceful bath anyway? But seriously, stick to warm water, u dont want to overheat yourself or get dizzy in the bathroom. Save the boiling hot showers for postpartum when u finally get 5 minutes to yourself!
I am also planning now and my MIL suggested to only use lukewarm water. It's a bit scary because you want to do everything perfectly. Let's hope for the best!
I totally understand how comforting a nice warm bath feels when your body is aching. Just make sure the water is lukewarm and not scalding hot, as we have to keep our little sweet baby safe. Treat yourself gently, dear.
In our family, we usually prefer warm water baths, but my mother-in-law always says not to use very hot water. My gynac also advised the same, keeping it moderate is best. Stay safe and comfortable.
Honestly, keep it warm, not hot. Very hot water can raise your body temperature which isn't safe for the baby in the early months. I always used a bucket and mug to control the temperature easily.
beta, always use lukewarm water, never use very hot water on your belly or back. If you have body pain, you can use a little warm mustard oil for a gentle massage instead. Take care of yourself.
Between office and home, a warm shower is the quickest way to relax. Just keep it at a normal lukewarm temperature so you don't feel dizzy. Don't spend too much time in there, just a quick refreshing bath is perfect.
Your body goes through so much, and a warm bath is truly like heaven. I remember how much it helped me relax when I was pregnant. Just make sure it is not too hot, you deserve to feel comfortable and cozy.
