Is it safe to bike travel while trying to conceive?
My office is a bit far and I go by two wheeler daily on these bumpy roads. We just started trying na, so im wondering if the riding affects anything. Anyone continued biking while ttc?
Look, our Indian roads are full of potholes, so bike travel can have too many sudden jerks. Instead of risking it, just travel by local bus or metro where you have more balance, or ask your husband to drive very slowly if u must use a bike.
Haha, unless you want your eggs to get scrambled before they even fertilize, I'd say avoid bumpy bike rides on our lovely potholed roads! Better to stick to an auto or car for a while to be on the safer side.
I totally understand how stressful the trying to conceive phase is, and you want to do everything perfectly. Honestly, to save yourself from any future guilt or anxiety, it is better to avoid two-wheelers and use safer options, you are doing great.
Uff, even thinking about a bike ride right now with this huge third-trimester belly makes me dizzy! But seriously, why take the risk with those terrible speed breakers when you are trying to conceive? Just take a cab or metro and travel comfortably.
It is best to discuss your lifestyle with your doctor during your regular pre-conception checkups. I had thyroid issues so I had to be very careful with my routine, and my doctor advised avoiding any strenuous physical jerks.
When you are trying to conceive, your body is preparing for a beautiful journey, so we should try to avoid unnecessary physical stress. While a smooth bike ride might be fine, the jerks on Indian roads can be a bit risky, so maybe opt for safer transport if possible.
