My elder one is still on feed and now i just found out im pregnant again. Family is saying stop it immediately but im confused. Is it actually safe to continue or not?
Generally, breastfeeding during pregnancy is considered safe if you have a normal, low-risk pregnancy. However, because breastfeeding can trigger mild uterine contractions, it's always best to get your doctor's green light, especially if you have a history of preterm labor.
Please be extremely careful. I had some spotting and preterm risks during my second pregnancy, and my doctor immediately asked me to stop breastfeeding to avoid contractions. Please consult your gynac before making a decision.
Mother's milk is a beautiful gift, and nature has made our bodies strong enough to nurture both babies. Just stay positive, eat very nourishing food, and pray for your strength. Take good care of your health.
Listen to me, it is absolutely fine to continue feeding your toddler as long as you are feeling healthy and not having any pain or cramping. Just make sure you are eating extra calories and drinking lots of milk to support both. If you feel any discomfort, just talk to your gynac, okay?
