I got diagnosed with gallstones last month, doc said small ones for now. We were planning to start trying soon but now im confused if I should wait. Did anyone here conceive with this, how was it for u?
This really depends on your case, size of stones and symptoms matter. Best to let your physician and gynac decide together. Whatever they say will be safest for you.
Please talk to your doctor before planning, gallstones can act up more in pregnancy because of hormones. A friend had pain attacks during her pregnancy. Not to scare u, just get it checked properly first.
My gynac told me gallstones dont stop you from conceiving, but pregnancy can sometimes trigger more attacks. She said get an ultrasound and an opinion from a surgeon also before planning, so they know the size and all.
Many women conceive with gallstones and manage fine. But dont decide alone na, sit with your doctor, they will tell if it needs anything before you start trying.

I would honestly get a proper doctor opinion first, gallstone pain is no joke. Dont go by random advice for this one. Once doctor says ok then plan with peace of mind.
