Is it safe to do treadmill when trying to conceive?
We are trying since 3 months and I dont want to stop my gym routine. I usually do 30 min treadmill, mostly walking with thoda jogging. Just worried if running affects chances ya not, anyone else kept it going while ttc?
When I was trying to conceive, I actually asked my gynecologist about exercise. She said that moderate intensity treadmill workouts are generally safe and can be beneficial for overall health, which helps with conception.
But she specifically warned against high-intensity interval training or overexertion that could raise core body temperature too much.
It's always best to discuss your specific fitness routine with your doctor to make sure it's right for you.
Treadmill? Haha, I remember those days! Right now, my treadmill is literally the path from my bed to the kitchen for a midnight snack, lol.
Honestly, when trying to conceive, I'd say keep it moderate. Don't push yourself like you're training for a marathon.
But yeah, definitely ask your gynac, because what do I know, I'm just a giant waddling belly now!
My family elders always say to stay active but not to strain yourself when trying for a baby. Gentle activities are usually encouraged.
For something like a treadmill, I'd say light walking is fine, but please, do check with your doctor.
They will give you the best advice based on your health history. Don't worry too much, just be mindful.
Treadmill... hmm, makes me think I should start doing it so I can eat more of my favorite sweets without guilt! Just kidding, mostly.
Honestly, when I was trying, I just did light walks, nothing too strenuous.
I think it's more about feeling good and healthy overall, rather than intense workouts. And eating good food, of course!
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including moderate exercise, is generally beneficial when trying to conceive. So, a treadmill used for light to moderate walking or jogging should be fine.
However, it's crucial to avoid overexertion, especially intense, high-impact workouts, which can sometimes be counterproductive.
It's always best to get personalized advice from your gynecologist, as they can assess your individual health profile and guide you appropriately.
Oh, my heart just melts thinking about you planning every step for your future little one! It's so thoughtful to consider these things even before conceiving.
I totally understand wanting to stay fit and healthy during this precious time.
Just listen to your beautiful body, it knows best. Sending you so much love and positive energy on this incredible journey.
