Is it safe to do ultrasound frequently during pregnancy?
Ive already had like 3-4 scans till now and im only 5 months. Mujhe lagta hai itne baar karwana baby ke liye theek hai kya? Just want to be sure all this scanning isnt harmful. anyone?
Beta, back in our days we didn't have so many scans and babies were still born perfectly fine. While they are safe, do not get too many scans done unnecessarily just to see the baby. Stick to what your doctor suggests and focus on eating green vegetables and taking rest at home.
It is completely safe, so please don't stress about it. I had severe vomiting and nausea and had to visit the hospital often, which meant extra scans to check the baby. Every time, seeing the heartbeat kept me going, so don't worry, just trust your doctor.
Ultrasounds are safe because they don't use radiation, but they can easily cost 1500 to 3000 rupees each time! So don't go for extra scans unless your gynac explicitly writes a prescription. Save that money for your delivery expenses and baby's nursery setup instead.
Haan ji, ye scans toh aaj kal bahut hote hai par ye ekdum surakshit hote hai. Hamare chote sheher ke hospital me bhi doctor har do mahine me scan karte the. Isse baby ki safety pata chalti hai, toh darrne ki koi baat nahi hai.
I had about 6 scans throughout my pregnancy because of some minor issues, and my baby is absolutely healthy! So don't worry, it's totally safe as it uses sound waves, not radiation. Think of it as a movie date with your baby where the popcorn has to wait till after the scan!
