I'm craving something fizzy, but I'm worried about what I can consume during pregnancy. Is it generally safe to drink 7Up or other soft drinks while pregnant? I want to make sure it's not harmful.
God, during my pregnancy I survived on carbonated drinks to stop the burping. 7up is fine occasionally, but don't drink the whole bottle unless you want crazy gas later! Keep it to a few sips.
I completely avoided soft drinks and stuck to coconut water or normal water to stay hydrated. If you have cravings, maybe have a tiny bit but try to go for a light walk after to digest it well, if your doctor has allowed physical activity.
Sometimes you just crave that fizzy, lemony kick! I drink it occasionally with some black salt and mint leaves mixed in, tastes amazing. Just limit it since it has empty calories.
Honestly I had severe nausea and a few sips of chilled 7up was the only thing that helped me feel human. Just don't drink it in huge quantities because of the high sugar. Moderation is key.
A little bit of 7up is absolutely fine if it helps with your nausea, dear. Just don't make it a daily habit because of the artificial sugars. Home-made fresh lime soda is a much better alternative.
Having PCOS made me super careful about my blood sugar levels during pregnancy. I avoided sodas like 7up as much as possible to prevent gestational diabetes. Try lemon water with a bit of salt instead.
