The acidity these days is unbearable, especially after dinner. I usually take eno but now im pregnant so im scared to. Is it safe ya should i avoid completely? Will check with doc also.
I totally understand how uncomfortable that burning sensation in your chest can be, dear. But please avoid Eno as it has high sodium which can increase your blood pressure. Try having some cold milk or check with your doctor for a safe syrup.
Ugh, pregnancy acidity is a different beast altogether! But honestly, skip the Eno because of the high salt content. I survived on cold milk and sleeping upright, which was miserable but safe!
Eno isn't really recommended during pregnancy because the high sodium can cause swelling or fluid retention, dear. Try chewing on some fennel seeds (saunf) or have small meals. If it's too bad, just ask your doctor for a safe prescription.
Currently in my 3rd trimester and my stomach feels like a volcano, but my doc strictly said no to Eno. Apparently, it can mess with your blood pressure. I just stick to coconut water now and pray for the delivery day to arrive!
I had thyroid issues during pregnancy and learned the hard way that self-medicating even with Eno is not a good idea due to high sodium. It's always best to ask your doctor during your regular follow-ups for a safe antacid.
I am in my second trimester and the acidity is crazy! I was tempted to have Eno but then got scared about the sodium levels. Have any of you asked your doctors about safe alternatives?
Oh, please avoid Eno! I read somewhere that the sodium bicarbonate in it isn't great for pregnancy, and I got so anxious that I threw my packet away. It's much safer to just call your doctor and get a regular pregnancy-safe gelusil or digene prescribed.
