I order a lot of chinese and most of it has baby corn in it. Suddenly got a doubt whether its okay during pregnancy or not. Im in first trimester and being extra careful with food. anyone else?
It's a handy veggie to keep, I'd toss it into quick stir fries on busy nights. Cooked it's safe and easy to digest. Just steer clear of undercooked or raw ones at outside buffets.
Baby corn manchurian was my craving for weeks lol. As long as it's properly cooked and from a clean place it's totally fine. I just avoided the very oily restaurant versions because acidity, otherwise go for it.
Yes baby corn is fine, just cook it well, dont eat it raw from a salad bar where hygiene is unknown. I had it in stir fries and soups all the time. Wash and cook properly, that's the only rule.
