I love having a banana with my breakfast everyday but my MIL keeps saying its cold for the body and not good in pregnancy. Im in my first trimester and now i feel guilty every time i eat one. Is there any truth to this or is it just an old saying?
I used to have a banana before my walks for energy, doctor was okay with it. Good natural source of potassium too. As long as your doctor hasnt restricted it, it is a nice healthy snack.

Banana is healthy but I had to watch it because of my gestational diabetes, it can raise sugar if you eat a lot. For most women it is perfectly fine though. If you have any sugar issue, just ask your doctor about the right amount.
Beta in our homes banana with a little milk was always given for strength. It is a simple wholesome fruit, nothing to fear. Just have it fresh and ripe, and one or two a day is plenty.
Yes banana is totally fine and actually quite good, I ate one almost daily. It helps with energy and even with constipation which is common in pregnancy. No reason to avoid it unless your doctor told you otherwise for some reason.
