Is it safe to eat ice cream during early pregnancy?
Im barely 7 weeks and the only thing i actually want to eat is ice cream lol. But MIL says thanda cheez avoid karo early on. Is it really a problem or just a myth?
Yes, eating ice cream in moderation is completely fine. My mother was worried about catching a cold, but my doctor assured me that occasional ice cream is safe as long as you don't have gestational diabetes. Just enjoy it in limit.
You can definitely have a little ice cream if you crave it, just don't make it a daily habit. If you have a sore throat or cold easily, maybe avoid very cold things. Otherwise, a little treat is completely fine.
Ice cream is safe during early pregnancy, but try to buy from reputed brands to avoid any risk of listeria from unpasteurized milk. Also, keep an eye on the sugar content to prevent unnecessary weight spikes.
Generally, ice cream made from pasteurized milk is safe. Just ensure it is stored properly and hasn't melted and refrozen, as that can grow bacteria. Eat in limit and you are good to go!
Looking back, I worried about the smallest things like eating ice cream! It is absolutely safe as long as you don't overdo the sugar. Enjoy your pregnancy, these craving days won't last forever!
I felt so guilty having chocolate ice cream in my first trimester because everyone at home said it's too cold for the baby. But honestly, it was the only thing that helped my nausea! My doc said it's totally fine, so don't feel bad.
Oh god, please don't stress too much about small treats! A scoop of your favorite ice cream is totally fine. It actually helps soothe a burning stomach when you have bad acidity. Go eat it!
