Litchi season is here and i love them but my mausi warned me they generate too much heat in body during pregnancy. Im in my 5th month. Is that true or just one of those old beliefs?
Beta lychee is fine in season, we always ate it. Just dont overeat because it is quite sweet and heaty for some. A few pieces fresh and clean is perfectly ok.
Yes its safe in moderation, i enjoyed it during my summer pregnancy. Eat fresh ones and wash well. My mother always said seasonal fruit is good for the body, just not in excess.
Lychee was my craving fruit lol, so juicy. I had a few daily in summer and loved it. Just keep portions sensible since its sugary, otherwise enjoy yaar.
Lychee is safe but its high in natural sugar, so go easy on the amount. I had to limit sweet fruits due to my sugar levels. If ur reports are normal, a small bowl is fine.
