Its summer and im craving kharbooja so badly, but my MIL said avoid certain fruits now so im a little unsure. Im 14 weeks. Did anyone eat it without any issue?
Muskmelon is totally fine and good for hydration. Only thing i'd say is buy it fresh and cut at home, avoid those pre cut roadside ones. If u have any food restrictions then check with doc, but generally its a healthy fruit.
I lived on muskmelon and watermelon in my summer pregnancy, so refreshing yaar. Its mostly water and so cooling. Just wash it really well and eat fresh cut pieces, don't keep it sitting cut for hours.
It's safe and lovely but it does have natural sugar, so i ate it in moderation since i had sugar issues. For most people it's perfectly fine in normal amounts. Wash properly before cutting is the main thing.
We eat it freely at home, my mother always said it keeps the body cool in pregnancy. Just hygiene matters, properly washed and fresh. Enjoy it na, such a nice fruit.
