Im running a mild fever and body ache since morning, 16 weeks now. Everyone says paracetamol is fine but i feel scared to take any tablet right now. Will check with my gynac but wanted to know what others did.
Paracetamol is generally the one they allow for fever or pain in pregnancy, but only in the dose your doctor tells you. Both times I checked with my gynac before taking even that. Dont mix it with other painkillers on your own.
I can only tell you what I did, I always called my gynac before any tablet even paracetamol. She would tell me yes and the dose. Please do that rather than going by what worked for me.
I had a few fevers in my pregnancy and my doctor okayed paracetamol for me, but she was particular about the dose and timing. Since I was already on regular follow ups I just messaged her each time. Safest to confirm with your own gynac before you take it.
Haan paracetamol is usually the safe one they suggest na, but still ask your doc first about how much. I never took it just like that, doctor told kitna and kab. For high fever pls call her, dont manage alone.
