I have peanut butter almost daily for breakfast, matlab its my fav. Now im 2nd trimester and got confused if it can cause allergy to baby or anything. anyone else having it?
I know how terrifying it is to eat anything new because we constantly worry about the baby's safety. But peanut butter is totally safe and highly recommended if you aren't allergic. Take a small spoonful first to reassure yourself, it's okay!
Oh I love peanut butter! I was also researching this for when I conceive, and found out it's super healthy for the baby's development too. Are you having it with apples or bread?
Yes, it is safe, don't worry unnecessarily. Just read the label and make sure it's fresh. Unless you are allergic to nuts, there's absolutely no reason to skip it.
It is absolutely safe and actually a great source of protein. Unless you have a peanut allergy, go ahead and enjoy it. I used to have it on whole wheat toast every single morning.
Same here, I am currently in my second trimester and eating peanut butter almost daily to meet my protein goals! Did your doctor suggest any organic brands or are you just buying regular store ones?
It's totally safe, just buy a brand that doesn't have too much added sugar or palm oil. If organic is too expensive, regular Pintola or Alpino works perfectly fine. Just eat a tablespoon with bread or chapati for quick energy.
