I can eat aloo in any form right now, especially when nausea is there. But I am also gaining weight and worried about too much potato. Is it okay as part of meals?
Potato itself is fine, but because of my gestational diabetes i had to watch the portion since it spikes sugar. If u dont have that issue, normal amounts are no problem at all.
Of course, aloo is totally safe, i ate it through both pregnancies. Just dont overdo deep fried fries and chips daily, normal cooked potato is perfectly fine.
Aloo is cheap, filling and safe, it was a staple for me during pregnancy. Boil or curry it instead of frying and u r good. No need to spend on fancy foods.
