I eat soya chunks almost twice a week for protein since im veg. Now someone in my building told me soya is not good in pregnancy, thoda confused ho gayi. Anyone knows if its fine?
I've been eating soya pulao weekly because of my protein targets, but then I read somewhere that soy affects hormones and got so scared! Is anyone else eating soybean regularly in their second trimester? Please let me know, thoda tension ho raha hai.
Soybean is actually a great source of protein, especially if you are vegetarian. You can have chunks or tofu, but just keep it in moderate amounts. Overeating soy isn't recommended, but normal ghar ka khana is perfectly safe.
Soybean is super healthy and safe! 🍲 I used to make soya seekh kababs at home during my pregnancy. Just make sure it's cooked well and enjoy your meals! 😊
When I asked my senior nutritionist at the hospital, she told me that eating moderate amounts of well-cooked soybean is totally fine. But she advised avoiding raw soy or soy supplements. Better to confirm once with your own doctor during your next visit.
Honestly, cook it, eat it, and enjoy the sleep while you still can! I ate so much soya chaap during my pregnancy and my baby is perfectly healthy. Right now I barely get time to eat maggi, so go enjoy your soybean, haha!
