I have been craving imli like crazy these days, cant stop thinking about it. My MIL keeps saying its not good in pregnancy but i feel like she is just being overcautious. Is there any actual harm or can i have a little?
We use tamarind in cooking daily in our home, like in rasam and sambar, and it was fine for me. In normal cooking amounts it is okay. My amma said too much imli can cause acidity though, so dont overdo it.
Ohh imli cravings were strong for me yaar, the sour pull is real. I had it in moderation and it was fine. Just dont eat spoonfuls of imli candy, it can give acidity and a sore throat.
Beta a little tamarind in food is fine and even helps with that craving for khatta. Just dont eat too much as it can cause acidity. Everything in moderation in these months.
