A new movie is releasing and my husband wants to take me. But im thodi worried about the loud sound and all that bass in the theatre, will it disturb the baby? Im in 6th month. Anyone went during pregnancy?
I went to watch a movie when I was 6 months pregnant. It was a nice break, just make sure to book corner seats so you can easily get up for bathroom runs and stretch your legs.
Omg I wanted to go for a movie so badly in my second trimester but then I started overthinking about the loud bass and the baby's ears! Actually my doctor said baby is well insulated in amniotic fluid, but I still wore earplugs just in case, haha. If you feel comfortable, go for it!
My hospital's prenatal counselor actually encouraged me to go out and enjoy dates before the baby came! They just advised avoiding crowded food stalls inside and sticking to bottled water. Always good to double check with your clinic if you have any special conditions.
It is completely safe to enjoy a movie in a theatre. Just avoid very loud action movies if they stress you out, and take a jacket because theatres can get quite chilly.
As long as your pregnancy is uncomplicated, going to the theatre is absolutely fine. Just make sure you sit in a comfortable posture and don't stay seated for too long without a stretch.
