Is it safe to have intercourse during pregnancy first trimester?
We are in the first trimester and both of us are a bit scared it might harm the baby or cause something. Nobody really talks about this openly na. Is it actually safe in early pregnancy or better to wait? pls share honestly.
For a normal healthy pregnancy its usually fine, baby is well protected. But if u have any bleeding, history of miscarriage or doctor has advised rest, then avoid and ask her first. Both my pregnancies my gynac said go ahead normally.
We had the same question and felt shy to ask, but our gynac was very normal about it and said its fine in a healthy pregnancy. Honestly just ask ur doctor once, they hear this all the time, no need to feel awkward.
In my case the doctor advised against it early on because of some spotting. So it really depends on ur own situation. Please check with ur gynac, if everythings normal she'll likely say its okay, but better to confirm.
Generally safe in an uncomplicated pregnancy, baby is cushioned and protected. The one rule, if u get any bleeding or cramps after, stop and inform ur doctor. When unsure, ur gynac is the best person to clear it.
