Is it safe to have intercourse during pregnancy third trimester?
Im 8 months now and honestly we both feel a little scared to even try, dont want to harm the baby. No complications so far, doc hasnt said anything. Is it actually safe in last trimester? Would love to hear from others who went through this.
For me, my doctor always stressed that unless there are specific complications like a low-lying placenta or cervical issues, it's generally safe. It's like how my thyroid levels needed constant monitoring. So, always discuss it during your regular check-ups with your gynac. They will tell you if there are any restrictions for you specifically.
Generally, if your pregnancy is healthy and uncomplicated, intercourse is safe right up until your water breaks or labour starts. My doctor actually said it can even help ripen the cervix! But always, always confirm with your own doctor, as every pregnancy is unique. Just listen to your body and your gynac.
Honestly, it depends on your specific pregnancy. If your doctor has cleared you and there are no complications like placenta previa or risk of preterm labor, it's generally okay. But it's always better to be cautious. Please have a candid chat with your gynac; they know your history and can give the most accurate advice for your situation.
Hah, with twins in my belly, intercourse felt like a gymnastic feat by the third trimester! 😂 But seriously, if your doctor hasn't given any restrictions, it's generally safe. Just be gentle and find comfortable positions. Communication with your partner is key, and definitely with your gynac too if you have any doubts.
If your doctor hasn't told you otherwise, usually it's considered safe. During my third trimester, we were careful and it was fine. Listen to your body and if anything feels off or uncomfortable, just stop. Always best to have a chat with your gynac about your specific situation, just to be sure and feel comfortable.
Beti, agar doctor ne mana nahi kiya hai aur koi dikkat nahi hai toh koi baat nahi. Bas thoda dhyan se aur aaram se karna chahiye. Agar koi dard ya takleef ho toh band kar dena. Apni doctor se bhi ek baar pooch lena achcha rehta hai, woh sahi salah dengi.
If your doctor says it's fine, then it's fine. No need to overthink it. The baby is well-protected inside. Just make sure there are no complications like bleeding or preterm labour risk. If you have any concerns, quickly ask your gynac during your next visit. Time is precious, don't waste it worrying unnecessarily.
