At home they started telling me to drink saffron milk from now only, I am 4 months. I dont mind the taste but I am not sure when and how much is okay. Did your doctor say anything about kesar?
In small culinary amounts saffron is considered safe, its the high doses that arent. So a few strands now and then, sure. If you have any high risk pregnancy, just confirm with your doctor first.
My family gave me kesar milk in later months, very little though. It was comforting. I did mention it to my gynac just to be safe and she said small amount is fine. Maybe ask yours too.
Beta a few strands of kesar in milk is an old tradition and is generally fine in small amount. Just dont go heavy on it. A pinch occasionally, not spoonfuls daily.
A little saffron in milk is okay, I had it sometimes. The key is small quantity, large amounts arent recommended in pregnancy. Just a few strands, not more.
