Is it safe to have sex during 8th month pregnancy?
Im in my 8th month now and the bump is quite big. Both me and hubby are unsure if its still okay at this stage or if we should just wait till after delivery. Would really appreciate honest experiences.
In a normal pregnancy it can be okay even in later months, but comfort becomes the issue with the bump. If your doctor hasnt restricted anything you are generally fine, just be gentle and find what works.
Its a common question dear, nothing to feel shy about. In most healthy pregnancies it is fine till the end, just listen to your body and your doctors advice. If anything feels off afterwards, get it checked.
Generally safe if your pregnancy is healthy and uncomplicated, the baby is well protected. But late pregnancy has individual factors, so a quick word with your doctor is the safest call. Stop and call her if you notice bleeding or strong cramps after.
Please check with your gynac, the 8th month is when some women have placenta issues, preterm risk or other concerns. I was told to avoid it due to my situation. For a low risk pregnancy its usually allowed.
