Yeah it's safe yaar, plenty of us do it. Trimming or a gentle wax is fine. Later when the bump grows it gets hard to see down there, so be careful not to nick yourself, that's all.
I got it trimmed before my delivery and it was totally fine. At the hospital they sometimes do a little prep anyway. Just go gentle and avoid harsh creams on sensitive skin, your skin can react more now.
I avoided strong hair removal creams and just used a clean razor or trimmer carefully. Skin gets extra sensitive in pregnancy so test any product first. If anything irritates a lot, then ask your doc.

Haan it's safe yaar, actually I just switched to trimming in the later months because reaching down with the belly was a whole task. Waxing is okay too if your skin handles it, just patch test na.
