Is it safe to take amlodipine in pregnancy?

I was on this for my bp even before pregnancy and now im 9 weeks. Im planning to ask my gynac at the next visit but the worry is eating me up. Did anyone continue this safely in pregnancy?

Only as per your gynac yaar. BP meds are not for self decision.

Anything for BP needs proper monitoring and follow up, like my thyroid did. Dont go by what worked for someone else. Let your doctor decide the medicine and keep checking your BP regularly.

BP medicines in pregnancy are strictly a doctor's call, please dont start or stop on your own. I had BP issues and my gynac chose exactly what was safe for me. Talk to her before taking amlodipine, every case differs.
