Had a bad headache yesterday and almost reached for saridon out of habit, then stopped myself coz im 9 weeks now. Didnt take it, will ask my gynac at next visit, but wanted to know what others do for headaches. anyone else avoid it?
Combination painkillers like that are generally avoided in pregnancy. Doctors usually allow only the doctor approved one for headache or fever. Best to call your gynac before popping anything, dont go by the medicine shop.
I never touched Saridon during my pregnancies. For headaches I rested, hydrated and only took what my doctor told me. Ring your gynac, dont self medicate this one.
Please dont take Saridon on your own in pregnancy, it has a combination that is not advised. For a headache, call your gynac first and they usually suggest a safer option. I always checked before taking anything, even basic painkillers.
