Caught a really bad cold and blocked nose this week and im miserable. I used to take sinarest before but now im pregnant so im not taking anything without checking. Planning to ask my doctor, just wanted to know if others were told its okay or not.
Sinarest is a combination medicine and not everything in it is recommended during pregnancy. For a cold, doctors usually suggest simpler safe options and home steam. Please confirm with your gynac before taking it.
I avoided those mixed cold tablets in both pregnancies and just did steam, warm fluids and rest for a cold. For anything stronger I called my doctor first. Dont self medicate with sinarest yaar, ask her.
Please dont take combination cold tablets like sinarest on your own in pregnancy. Some ingredients in those are not advised. When I had a bad cold my doctor told me exactly what was safe instead. Always ask first.
