Is it safe to take vitamin b complex during pregnancy?
My gynac already gave folic acid but my mom keeps saying take a b complex tablet also for energy. Im in 2nd trimester and feeling thoda weak. Just want to know if its okay to add or i shud ask doc first?
Honestly, my pregnancy cravings are so wild right now, but I still try to keep my nutrition on track. My gynac actually prescribed a B-complex along with folic acid to help with my daily energy levels. Better ask your doc first, but mostly they do recommend it to keep us active!
Having PCOS made me super cautious about what goes into my body during pregnancy. B complex is generally given to help, but since our hormonal balance is already tricky, please don't take it without your doctor's go-ahead. Wishing u a smooth journey!
Hey! Yes, usually B complex is very safe and actually helped me stay active throughout my journey. I had a smooth normal delivery and my doc had kept me on regular vitamins. Just double check with your doctor once for the right brand and dosage.
I always believe in being 100% safe when it comes to the baby's health. Even for simple vitamins, please check with your gynac once before starting. Every pregnancy is different, so it is always better to take what your own doctor recommends.
When I was pregnant, the medical team at my hospital was very strict about OTC meds. They gave me a specific brand of B-complex based on my blood reports. I'd highly recommend calling your hospital's helpline or asking your doctor directly.
Beta, nowadays doctors always give these vitamin pills, so it is normal. But along with any medicine your gynac gives, make sure you eat good food like green leafy veggies, dals, and milk ghar pe. Natural nutrition is always the best for the baby, take care.
Dekho, pregnancy me bina doctor se pooche ek tablet bhi mat lo. B complex is usually safe and doctors do prescribe it, but don't just buy it over the counter. Ask your gynac in the next visit and follow whatever she says, simple.
