Is it safe to travel during 6th month of pregnancy?
We have a family function out of town next month and i will be in my 6th month then. Its like a 6 hour car journey. Did anyone travel around this time, was it ok for u?
Sixth month is actually considered one of the better times to travel, the nausea is gone and the belly isnt too big yet. I traveled then with no issues. Just take frequent breaks, stay hydrated and get a quick okay from your gynac before booking.
Yaar 6th month is a sweet spot for travel, dont stress too much. Just keep snacks, water and your meds handy. Get your doc's nod and go enjoy, you deserve a little break.
For most women its fine, but it really depends on your individual pregnancy. I had a complication so my doctor advised me against long travel. Please get your gynac's clearance first, especially for flights or long journeys.
I did a work trip in my 6th month and it was fine. I avoided long stretches of sitting, moved my legs often and carried my reports along just in case. Plan light and dont overpack your schedule.
