Is it safe to travel during 8th month of pregnancy?

Humare yahan toh bade-budhe bilkul mana karte hain 8th month me bahar jane se. It is better to rest at home now because of the heavy belly and risk of early labor. Please be very careful if you really have to go.
According to most pregnancy trackers, the 8th month is when baby can drop, and traveling can trigger preterm labor due to jerks or sitting for too long. If you must travel, get a 'fit to fly' certificate from your gynac and check hospital locations near your destination.
I am planning my pregnancy and was wondering about this too. I guess the third trimester is quite delicate. Personally, I would avoid any long travels just to keep things completely stress-free.
As someone who had GD, I had to eat and walk on a strict schedule, which is so hard during travel. Also, sitting for long hours can increase swelling in your feet during the 8th month. Better to skip the trip unless your doctor gives a strong green light.
I am currently in my 5th month and already feel so tired during short car rides. Is traveling in the 8th month even allowed by airlines or doctors? I'd be so scared of sudden contractions, do let us know what your doctor says!
Traveling in the 8th month requires extra care as you are very close to your due date. If it’s not urgent, try to stay home, stay positive, and avoid long bumpy roads. Keep praying for a smooth journey ahead.
