Is it safe to travel during pregnancy in 8th month?

My family has a wedding coming up next month and I'll be in my 8th month of pregnancy then. We would have to travel by train. Is it safe to travel at such an advanced stage of pregnancy?

Ghar pe toh meri MIL and mummy ne strictly mana kar diya tha last trimester me travel karne se. They said it's better to stay near your delivery hospital. Unki baat sahi hi thi actually.
