Just found out im pregnant and theres a family wedding out of station next week, around 6-7 hrs by road. Im a little nervous about so much travel this early. Did any of u travel in the first month, how did it go?
I travelled for work in my first month and it was fine, just keep it light. Carry water, take breaks, dont lift heavy bags. If u have any cramping or spotting then pause and call ur doctor.
If your doctor hasnt flagged anything, normal travel is okay. But honestly a quick call to the gynac before booking gives such peace of mind. I always did that.
Travel is fine, the baby is basically a tiny dot floating with no idea ur on a train haha. Just dont plan a trekking adventure right now. Comfort first, snacks always.
After my IVF I was extra careful and skipped travel in the first month, but every pregnancy is different. If yours is normal and doctor says fine, short comfortable trips are usually okay. Just listen to your body, na.
Generally ok but please clear it with ur gynac first, especially if its a long journey or u have any history. Mine asked me to avoid bumpy roads early on. Better safe than sorry in the first weeks.
